This paper designed and synthesized 12 kinds of polyesters?P1P12?and 9 kinds of polyester zinc,aluminum complexes?P7-ZnP12-Zn,P10-AlP12-Al?.The structure and properties of polyesters and metal complexes were characterized by FT-IR,1H NMR,UV-vis,GPC,TG,ICP and fluorescence spectra.P7P9 and P7-ZnP9-Zn were soluble in THF,CHCl3,DMAc,DMF,DMSO,NMP.P10P12 were soluble in DMAc,DMF,DMSO and NMP.P10-ZnP12-Zn and P10-AlP12-Al can be partially dissolved in DMAc,DMF,DMSO and NMP.Solubility measurements indicated that the polyesters and metal complexes have good solubility.The weight average molecular?Mw?of P4P12 were 1965,2726,4639,2482,4164,6148,2569,4579 and 7661 g/mol,PDI 1.211.52.5%weight loss temperature of P7P9 were 272.2,261.4 and 270.8?,P7-ZnP9-Zn were 286.8,281.7 and 287.5?.5%weight loss temperature of P10P12 were 285.2,287.5 and 291.3?,P10-ZnP12-Zn were 292.4,293.4 and 305.8?,P10-AlP12-Al were 337.1,346.2 and 348.9?,respectively.Thermal analysis measurements indicated that polyesters and polyester zinc,aluminum complexes have good thermal stability.The maximum fluorescence emission peaks of P7P9 and P10P12 in DMF solution appeared at 416418 nm and 432433 nm,they emitted purple fluorescence.The maximum fluorescence emission peaks of P7-ZnP9-Zn,P10-ZnP12-Zn and P10-AlP12-Al in DMF solution appeared at 505507 nm,537538 nm and 494496 nm,they emitted green fluorescence.12 kinds of novel polyesters?P1P12?and 9 kinds of polyester zinc,aluminum complexs?P7-ZnP12-Zn and P10-AlP12-Al?were successfully synthesized in this paper.they have good solubility,thermal stability and optical properties.P7P12,P7-ZnP12-Zn and P10-AlP12-Al are promising candidates for optoelectronic functional polymer materials.
