Design And Research Of Composite Pipe Longitudinal Welding Machine

Composite steel plate welding is an important way of composite pipe manufacturing. In this kind of production method, longitudinal seam welding is the key step in the using performance of composite pipes. At present, the existing longitudinal seam welding machine can't satisfy the requirement of composite pipes, while using robot welding technology has high economic costs. Therefore, developing welding equipment, which can meet the requirements of composite pipe longitudinal seams welding, is of great significance for promoting pipe market applications.Based on the analysis of longitudinal seam welding process and combined with the feature of existing longitudinal seam welding machine, we have designed a kind of composite pipe of longitudinal seam welding machine in this paper, which can meet the requirements of the function. First, in accordance with the requirements of welding technology and the structure characteristics of machining parts, we have designed the general structure and control scheme of the welding machine. The principle of three joint have applied to the welding machine. The machine can implement composite pipe axial open joint and pressure, and can also reduce the work-piece deformation damage. Secondly, according to the requirements of the machine tool control function, we have designed a kind of NC welding system, which is based on the HMI and motion controller. The motion control is the core, and the Touch screen is human interaction interface in the whole control system. In the case of welding torch swing servo control system, we have established and analyzed the mathematical model of the welding torch swing servo system in MATLAB. Finally, in view of the control system hardware circuit design in this paper, we have completed the configuration control interface and motion controller control program. Through the hardware and software of alignment, the control system is reasonable and the human interaction interface is good, which can achieve the desired control requirements.
