Calix[4]arene have many excellent properties, such as chemical and thermodynamic stability, cavity structure, upper rim and lower rim which can be easily introduced functional groups modified characteristics. Calix[4]arene are widely used as a receptor ligand for metal salt. Functionalized calix[4]arene can get new organometallic complexes, and new complex nature, for example, fluorescence properties when introduced into pyrene.Recently metal-alkene complexs have attracted considerable attention, since the synthesis of stable coinage metal complexes of ethylene, structure of these compounds, bonding between ethylene molecules and coinage metal ions have been the focus of research, chemical methods, and a number of quantum computing are used as tools to get results.In this work, two kinds of new ligand L1?1,3 reversal conformational 25,26,27,28-tetraallyl calix [4] arene? and L2?5,11,17,13-tetraallyl-23,25,26,27-tetrapropyl calix [4] arene? are designed, synthesis organic metal complexes with two salts of AgNO3 and CF3SO3 Ag respectively. To explore the capabilities of encapsulate silver ions,and the influences of different anions in the synthesis of complexes. As can be seen from the structure of the three crystals, in the crystal L1·3AgNO3, one Ag coordinates with two alkene ligands which are at a flip side, and the other two Ag coordinate with two alkene ligands which locate on the other side respectively, forming to a chain spatial structure by two NO3 bridge two ligands. One side located the main calix[4] arene, on the other side are the chain coordinating group, just like many lanterns hung with the ropes. In the crystal L1 ? 2CF3SO3 Ag, a silver ion coordinates with two alkenes which flip to one side, and the carbon on the benzene ring, due to a benzene participate in the formation, the benzene ring leads to deflect inwardly, narrowing of the cavity. The other Ag ion on the opposite side coordinates with the two alkene ligands, and also coordinates with free oxygen in water molecule. It can be seen from the space filling graph that Ag ions are completely encapsulated in the cavity by ligand, the introduction of alkenes can improve the ability of package to metal ions. In the crystal L2·3CF3SO3Ag, there are three different environmental Ag ions involved in the coordination, one just coordinates with alkene complex, another one only coordinate with oxygen atoms, the last one coordinates with both. Four head to head ligands, in which the alkenes are on the upper rim from a parallel chain of repeating units,by two CF3SO3- bridge the ligands, extends into net structure.Alkene functionalized Calix[4] arene ligands exhibit a variety of changing structure when coordinate with Ag ions, which provides a new idea of opening up new organic metal complex compound system.
