Research of flame retardant for fabric is of great significance to prevent fire,so more and more people pay attention on it.Commonly,water-based flame retardant of nitrogen-phosphorus for the treatment of fabric is a mix of inorganic salt,which results in poor performance.In this paper,the flame retardancy and physicochemical property such as the moisture absorption ratio of the flame retardant for the treatment of fabric were improved by putting the silicon and polymer(polyvinyl alcohol)into the flame retardant system.The PVA of esterification(P-PVA)was prepared by reacting polyvinyl alcohol with phosphoric,using urea as catalyzer,then it was mixed with guanidine carbonate and siloxane(KH-902),at last the water-based flame retardant of nitrogen-nhosphorus-nilicon for the treatment of fabric was prepared.In this paper,we used the methods of characterization such as infrared spectra analysis,thermogravimetric analysis and scanning electron microscope,and we also had some tests on the flame retardancy and physicochemical property of the flame retardant for the treatment of fabric.In this paper,we had some tests on the performance of water-based flame retardant of nitrogen-phosphorus-silicon for the treatment of fabric.The optimum reaction condition was that the mass ratio of P-PVA,guanidine carbonate and KH-902 was 11:6:3,the synthesis was carried out under 85~95?.This paper had a test on the performance of water-based flame retardant,and uesed the methods of scanning electron microscope,the result indicates that the flame retardant for the treatment of fabric exhibits good flame retardancy for the synergistic effect of nitrogen,phosphorus and silicon,and residue carbon layer yeilds.Based on the infrared spectra analysis on the water-based flame retardant of nitrogen-phosphorus-silicon for the treatment of fabric,it contains siloxane and the product of esterification.In addition,the result by using TG shows that the water-based flame retardant of nitrogen-phosphorus-silicon for the treatment of fabric has changed the combustion process of the fabric,which endow the fabric with flame retardant property.The result of the test on the flame retardancy and physicochemical property of the flame retardant for the treatment of fabric is that the damaged length is 72 mm,the afterflame time is 0.5s and the afterglow time is 0.5s,the high limiting oxygen index is 35.5%,the value of p H is 5,the moisture absorption rate is 6%,and the product is crystal clear.All the results of the test above have reached national standard.In this paper,the water-based flame retardant of nitrogen-phosphorus-silicon for the treatment of fabric is a kind of half durability water-based flame retardant to improve dripping resistance.besides,the cost of the product is low,and both the method and principle of preparation are simple.
