An Empirical Analysis On The Factors Affecting Source Separation Of Household Waste Reduction

In recent years,With the development of urbanization,the problem of household waste in cities is becoming more and more significant,which Makes household waste reduction has become the focus,and Household waste Source separation reduction has become the key of it.As early as in 1992,Guangzhou had already stared the work of propagandize household separation,Then in 2000,Guangzhou has been chosen as on one of the household waste separated pilot cities,Finally in 2010,Guangzhou had started a comprehensive promotion of household wasted reduction activities in the whole city.According to investigation of the sanitation department,the work for reduction of household waste classification are mainly undertaken by Sanitation workers and the companies which are related to household waste classification.But the residents are considered as the main producers of household.But,in fact,the ratio of residents‘ participate in the reduction of reduction of household waste classification is less than 30%,dropping rate is less than 10%.This situation led to results which the living garbage classification reduction effect has been disappointing.Therefore,from the perspective of community residents,this paper studies on the factors,which influence the intention and behavior of classification reduction,to reveal the deep reason which affect residents' household waste classification reduction.On the basis of A large number of literature research,combining the theory of environmental behavior,A-B-C theory,planned behavior theory,This paper put forward a waste reduction factors theory model.Through the experience summary method,selecting the main factors that influence the household waste source reduction.Based on household waste classified questionnaire survey data which is from the 18 th street residents in yuexiu district,using the binary logistic regression model,to examine the factors which affect the behavior of the classification and the willingness to classify through the empirical analysis,Focus on the differences of the influence of related factors,further analysis the internal mechanism of impact on source separation of waste reduction.The results are divided into the following four:(1)the influence of the variable to household waste classification between intention and behavior exists consistency: Factors in influence on household waste sorting intention and behavior in the same direction,and Presents the significant at the same level,which means if the resident are more satisfied with the garbage classification effect,have more acceptance of the propaganda to others,the more the ability to sense the classifications reduction motivation and the older the older,the more likely they will have stronger intention and behavior of the garbage classification,The impact of the allocation of garbage sorting facilities is quite the opposite;(2)the influence of the variable to household waste classification intention and behavior exist differences: factors affecting the impact of household waste sorting intention and household waste classification behaviors exists : the Difference in the direction,The difference of whether significant or not,whether the significant level is different or not,for example: The willingness of the inhabitants to classify as income decreases,but is more likely to be classified;(3)Impact on garbage sorting intention and behavior variables exist in abnormal,Some variables should have positive influence on household waste classification behavior and intention,but in the end,the result is the opposite of what expected.The propaganda is not in place,the confusion about the knowledge of classification,however the result is less intention to classification;The more facilities there are,the equipment of garbage classifier and the higher the education level,the less the residents will be able to classify the garbage(4)The result of the household waste classification is being collectively powered by the actions of intention and behaviorAccording to the empirical results,this article is given four following Suggestions to promote community residents household waste reduction classification(1)Unified community garbage sorting facilities,and Establish perfect and convenient recycling channels;(2)Strengthen the propaganda and education mode,For different residents to take targeted propaganda to Popularize household waste classification knowledge and cultivate residents environmental values;(3)Establish household waste classified long-term incentive mechanism to promote residents household waste classification habits;(4)At last,strengthening household waste classification responsibility mechanism to change the residents' cognition to the household waste classification responsibility,and enhance residents' social sense of responsibility,promote the spontaneous behavior to carry out the household waste classification.
