Cisplatin drugs in the current clinical chemotherapy has played an important role. However, these drugs have a higher toxic side effects on the body, mainly nephrotoxicity and nausea and vomiting. So in the field of cancer treatment urgently need to find alternatives to platinum drugs.Studies have shown that C,N-ring metallopalladium complexes with similar structure and thermodynamic similarity to Pt complexes have certain anticancer activity.Schiff base is a class of important nitrogen compounds, the imine group of N on the lone pair of electrons, with most of the metal ions can form a stable complex.Studies have shown that Schiff base complexes are widely used in drugs, catalysis, detection and other fields.Which salicylaldehyde Schiff base with a unique antibacterial effect of people's favor.Symmetrical bis-Schiff base occupies an important position, from the structure of the special and has a number of coordination points. It can form complexes with many transition metals.N,O in the ligands are the coordination complexes with the central metals. In view of the potential application value of the ring metallo-palladium complex and salicylaldehyde Schiff base in the drug field,we designed and synthesized a series of salicylaldehyde Schiff base bridged palladium complex. The resulting palladium complexes were characterized by IR,1H NMR,X-ray single crystal diffraction. It is hoped that some new ideas will be provided for further study of the anticancer activity of the complexes.Specific work as follows:First of all,we have synthesized the compounds reported in the previous work of this research group [Pd{?4-R?C6H3CH=NC6H3-2,6-i-Pr2}??-Cl?]2?R=H,1;R=OMe,2?And a new ring metallo-palladium complex was synthesized by the reaction with Schiff base derived from salicylaldehyde [Pd2?4-R??C,N-k2-C6H3CH=NC6H3-2,6-i-Pr2?2 {N,O-k2-1,4-?N=CH-2-O-C6H4?2-C6H4}]?R=H,3;R=OMe,4?[Pd2?4-R??C,Nk2-C6H3CH=NC6H3-2,6-i-Pr2?2 {N,O-k2-1,4-?C6H4N=CH-2-O-C6H4?2-CH2}]?R=H,5;R=OMe,6?[Pd?4-R??C,N-k2-C6H3CH=NC6H3-2,6-i-Pr2?{N,O-k2-1,4-?C6H4N =CH-2-O-C6H4?2-C6H4]2?R=H,7;R=OMe,8?[Pd?4-R??C,N-k2-C6H3CH= NC6H3-2,6-i-Pr2?{N,O-k2-1,4-?C7H6N=CH-2-O-C6H4?2-C6H4}]2?R=H,9;R=OMe,10??The compounds were characterized by IR,1HNMR and other analytical methods. The molecular structures of compounds 4 and 8 were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction, and the structure of the compounds was determined. The reactivity of the synthesized compounds 3-10 was studied by reaction with 1,4-diphenylphosphine butane and triphenylphosphine respectively. The complexes were characterized by IR spectroscopy. To study the reactivity of these complexes kind of nature provides favorable conditions.
