The design and construction of coordination compounds with novel structures and excellent properties have been the research hot topic because of their potential applications in the optical,sensor,magnetism,catalytic and gas storage fields.The thesis is aimed at synthesizing 3d transition metal coordination compounds which have good thermostability,luminescence and magnetic properties.Five flexible aromatic carboxylic acid and two bis-nitrogen-heterocyclic ligands were designed and synthesized:?3,3'-(Ethylenedioxy)dibenzoic acid(H2bae):?3,3'-(Methylenedioxy)dibenzoic acid(H2bam);?bis(4-carboxy-phenoxy)methane(H2bcm);?1,3-bis(4-carboxy-phenoxy)propane(H2bcp);?5-(Carboxymethoxy)isophthalic acid(H3oabdc);?1,1'-(1,4-butanediyl)bis(imidazole)(bbi);?1,4-bis((1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl)benzene(bimb).There are sixteen 3d transition metal coordination compounds with different structures are successfully designed and synthesized by the reactions of the seven flexible ligands with 3d transition metal salts.These coordination compounds are characterized by x-ray single crystal diffraction,elemental analyses,IR spectra,TGA,luminescence and x-ray powder diffraction.Eleven new coordination compounds have been synthesized successfully by the main ligand H2bae,the ancillary ligand phen,1-H-1,2,3-Triazole,bbi,bimb and 3d transition metal salts.1,9,11 show 1D chain structures and compound 2,4,6,7,8,10 show 2D layer structures and compound 3,5 show 3D net structures.It was also found that the reaction temperature,pH,ligands order of addition and the size of the auxiliary ligands could adjust and control the structure of the coordination polymer from two-dimensional to three-dimensional framework and from interpenetrating structure to non-interpenetrated network.Fluorescence measurement showed compound 1 and 2 probably functions as a potential promising fluorescence sensor for detecting Fe3+ ion with high sensitivity and selectivity.The competitive absorption of excitation wavelength energy between Fe3+ ion and 1,2 results in the quenching effect.At the same time,compound 2 probably also functions as a potential promising fluorescence sensor for NB.With the flexible carboxylate ligands of H2bcm?H2bam?H3oabdc?H2bcp as the main ligands,the 1-H-1,2,3-Triazole?bbi?imidazole as the auxiliary ligands five new coordination compounds have been synthesized successfully.Compound 13?15 show 2D net structures and compound 12?14?16 show 3D net structures.The reaetion temperature?auxiliary ligand and the coordination mode of the flexible carboxylate ligands can regulate and control the structure.
