Empirical Study On The Method For Ecological Environmental Protection In Highway Constructional Project Through Ecological Sensitive Area For Check And Accept Of Completed Project

Environmental protection for check and accept of completed project is very essential before the a project is put into operation.The purpose is to discover the existing environmental problems after the completion of the project and to make proper suggestions so as to provide a scientific basis for further environmental protection and administration measures.In this paper,the method for environmental protection for check and accept of completed project is used to determine whether a typical highway constructional project which passed through a nature reserve and a source groundwater protection area is environmentally acceptable.The conclusion is based on the present situation of the regional vegetation and wildlife,and the comparison of remote sensing images of two periods:before and after the construction of the project.The result shows that the "3S" technology is a feasible and reliable technical method to carry out the check and accept work at a geographically large scale.It's more obvious to see the comparison of the ecological status before and after the construction of the project using the interpretation of high resolution remote sensing images in different years,so that the environmental protection for check and accept of completed project could be more objective and fair.The remote sensing investigation of the nature reserve requires only a few field checks instead of a large-scale investigation in the nature reserve,which not only reduces an artificial disturbance but also saves the overall cost and reflects the actual situation more comprehensively.There should be a safe distance between the site selection of the constructional project and the nature reserve.Otherwise,strict ecological protection and restoration measures must be taken to reduce the environmentally impact on the nature reserve to the minimum.The ecological protection and restoration measures should be put forward according to the actual situation of the nature reserve to prevent the invasion of alien species.Collecting pipelines for surface flow and emergency storage pools should be build in the large and medium size bridge decks and especially in the bridge decks located in the source groundwater protection area to prevent water pollution caused by the leakage of hazardous chemicals.
