The submerged arc furnace is the necessary equipment for the ferroalloy industry.The working current is tens of thousands or even tens of thousands of amps.At present,it is widely used in the way of power supply,and the transformer is directly reduced to low pressure of the three-phase electrode.,Which led to low operating power factor,the current between the three-phase electrode is difficult to control the balance,causing the power grid waveform distortion,resulting in a large harmonic,electrode consumption is serious,seriously affecting the use and benefits.Power electronics technology today to lay the foundation for the low-frequency power supply for the submerged arc furnace,low-frequency power supply can fundamentally solve the traditional submerged arc furnace power supply mode of the existence of the above deficiencies in China's metallurgical industry,technological progress of the green,energy-saving emission reduction,reduce carbon emissions are of great significance and far-reaching impact,but by a variety of factors,to this country engaged in this work is too little.This project is supported by Xi'an Science and Technology Plan-Innovation Project "Mineral Furnace Low Frequency Energy Saving Power Supply"(Project No.: CX13101).It is a part of the whole project.Low-frequency submerged arc furnace power supply technology to achieve the principle of energy-saving analysis of the status quo at home and abroad in this area to explore the submerged arc furnace low-frequency power supply to replace the traditional submerged arc furnace power supply program feasibility,and then by means of power electronics technology,The triggering circuit and its protection circuit of the main circuit of the low-frequency power supply of the submerged arc furnace are designed with the high-performance and highly integrated microprocessor and CPLD as the core.Application PLC S7-200 series monitors the normal operation of the whole system.Finally,the circuit of the whole low frequency submerged arc furnace system is debugged and verified experimentally,and the experimental results are analyzed.
