Mineral furnace is the necessary production equipment for smelting calcium carbide,ferrosilicate,ferro-manganese,ferro-nickel and other products in ferro-alloy industry.Now the maximum capacity of a single AC power supply mineral furnace has reached 80000 KVA,and the capacity has an increasing trend.In the past two years,the domestic has gained breakthrough in the field of dc supply-arc furnace,a practical system has been proved that-arc furnace power supply dc,is one of the fundamental way out for the good benefit its energy and energy conservation,but as the single-arc furnace furnace smelting capacity expands unceasingly,the structure of the power supply is relatively complex,the use of power electronic devices are more and more,maintenance is extremely difficult.Therefore,it is necessary to design a DC power supply system for large-capacity mining furnace to monitor and protect it in real time.According to the above mentioned problems,this paper adopts Siemens PLC as the main control unit,combined with the upper computer WinCC,to design a large capacity DC power supply monitoring and protection system for mining furnace.When the system is in normal operation,the DSP touches the thyristor to turn on.When the fault occurs,the fault signal is sent to the power protection pin of the DSP to block the pulse and the thyristor is turned off.The control quantity is adjusted in a closed loop and sent to the PLC,which communicates with the upper computer WinCC through industrial Ethernet and transmits real-time data to WinCC.The display of WinCC interface of upper computer effectively realizes the real-time monitoring of DC power supply of large capacity mining furnace.Finally,the software and hardware debugging and verification of the system,the results show that the system can effectively realize the man-machine interface,meet the technical requirements,the operation effect is good.
