The people's quality of life can be improved by the development of industrial production, but at the same time it also led to heavy metal ions pollution. Therefore, the detection and identification of heavy metal ions has become the primary problem to be solved. In comparsion with traditional methods for detecting metal ions, the fluorescent chemosensor shows advantages in term of selectivity, sensitivity and monitoring for specific metal ions in situ.8-hydroxy-2-methyl quinoline and 1,8-naphthalic anhydride can be used to synthesize fluorescent chemosensors with good fluorescence properties for several metal ions because of their good photo stability, strong fluorescence, high quantum yield, large Stocks shift and easy modification.According to a large number of literatures, several chemosensors based on quinoline and 1,8-naphthalic anhydride were synthesized, characterized and the spectrum properties of each sensor were studied. The main contents include:In chapter 1,the design principle and mechanism of fluorescent chemosensors and status on quinoline and 1,8-naphthalic anhydride have been reviewed. In chapter 2,a Cu2+ fluorescent sensor L based on TCT and PET mechanism was synthesized. We used hydrazine hydrate as a linker to connected 1,8-naphthalic anhydride and 4-(Diethylamino)salicylaldehyde to form sensor L through the Schiff base reaction. When other metal ions and Cu2+ coexist in CH3CN aquoJs,the sensor L exhibited high selectivity and anti-interference ability for recognizing Cu2+,and showed significant fluorescence quenching. In chapter 3,we designed and synthesized the trivalent metal ion sensor M with ICT mechanism based on 8-hydroxy-2-methylquinoline.The hydroxyl group of 8-hydroxy-2-methylquinoline is modified and then reacted with 1,8-naphthalic anhydride to form sensor M.The sensor M is an excellent indicator to trivalent metal ions Fe3+,Al3+ and Cr3+ in absolute ethanol, and showed obvious:luorescence enhancing. At the same time, the sensor M and trivalent metal ions are 1:1 coordination determined by Job's plot.In chapter 4,8-hydroxy-2-methylquinoline and naphthylamine has been taken as reactants,Hg2+ fluorescence quenching chemosensor Q has been synthesized based on the PET mechanism. When Hg2+ coexisted with other metal ions in absolute ethanol, sensor Q showed high selectivity and anti-interference for Hg2+.At the same time, the coordination ratio between sensor Q and Hg2+ is 1:1,determined by the Job's plot experiment. In chapter 5,Summary and outlook.
