Sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber using papermaking process is a kind of flame retardant and sound-absorbing composite materials.Compared with foreign products,the quality of domestic products is poor.In order to improve this situation,this subject mainly focuses on the following aspects.Study on the effect of different plasticizers on sound-absorbing flame retardant base sheet materials based on glass fiber was carried out(just adding the binder,without adding flame retardant,colorants and a series of chemical products),to get the production of the optimum technological conditions.Meanwhile,study on the flame retardant and the binder on the physical and mechanical properties of sound-absorbing flame retardant base sheet materials based on glass fiber was also included.On this basis,the mechanism of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber was analyzed by SEM,FT-IR,EDS and TG.The study on the effect of plasticizers on basis weight,thickness,compactness,bulkiness and tensile strength of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber by using AFG,Arosurf PA 777,Varisoft 3696 in totally five kinds of plasticizers processing on it was carried out.It was found that AFG plasticizer had the best effect on sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber.When the amount of AFG plasticizer was 0.75wt%,the compactness of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber was 0.225 g/cm3,and the bulkiness was 4.44 cm3/g,the tensile strength was 13.35 N/mm.It is sure that it can be able to meet the requirements of daily use as well as production.Because the sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber has no flame retardant effect,it is necessary to take a dipping method to cope with it.FT-IR,SEM-EDS and other analytical instruments were used to analyze the flame retardant.The study on effect of flame retardant impregnation time and flame retardant agent on physical and mechanical properties of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber was carried out to determine the best process conditions.When the impregnation time of flame retardant was 15s,and the amount of flame retardant was 5%,the content of flame retardant of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber was 16.00%,while the tensile strength was 11.92 N/15mm,the index of average oxygen was 28.5%,achieving a flame retardant grade.Finally,using SEM analysis,analysis of carbon layer after combustion,and TG analysis,the effect and mechanism of flame retardant were studied.SEM research found that the glass fiber and plant fiber were intertwined with each other to form a network structure.The flame retardant mainly covered the surface of the plant fiber,and the surface of the glass fiber was less.After analyzing on the combustion of carbon and TG,we found that in the case of heat,the decomposition of flame retardant released non-flammable gas in advance,the gas diluted the oxygen,meanwhile on the surface of the plant fiber the retardant began to form a protective film,prevent the plant fiber to contact air in order to achieve the propose of flame retardant.Generally speaking,the greater the amount of binder,the greater strength of the material,but it will have a certain negative impact on other indexes of the material,such as compactness,hand feeling.During study the effect of binder on the sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber,it was found that the tensile strength of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber was increasing while adding the binder dosage,but the feeling is weakened and the porosity decreased.Because the addition of the binder filled the sheet substrate or covered the surface of fiber,the sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber had poor hand feeling and porosity decreased.Therefore,it is one of the important factors to balance the various properties of the material to select the appropriate amount of binder.Studies have shown that when the amount of binder was 4%,the containing adhesive volume of sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber was 15.57%,the tensile strength was 15.21 N/15mm,and the porosity was 85.21%,which can satisfy the requirements of the product's indexes.By studying the effect of flame retardant and binder agent on the sound absorption performance of the sound-absorbing flame retardant sheet materials based on glass fiber,sound absorption coefficient can reach more than 0.5.It is proved that the material has a good sound-absorbing effect.
