Since the “lotus effect” was found,Passion for research in the field of superhydrophobic has never been decreased.In general,a superhydrophobic surface refers to a surface where the contact angle of water droplets on its surface is greater than 150° and the rolling angle is less than 10°.There are two main ways to prepare superhydrophobic surfaces: modifying a rough surface with a material of low surface energy and constructing a suitable rough structure from a low surface energy material.There are many methods for preparing superhydrophobic surfaces,but some of which are complex,expensive,and difficult to control.With the deepening of research,it was found that superhydrophobic surface not only in the self-cleaning,anti-corrosion,drag reduction and other fields have applications in the field of anti-icing also has a wide range of applications.In this paper,simple hydrothermal method and laser etching method are used to prepare super-hydrophobic ZnO film and superhydrophobic PTFE surface.The maximum contact angle of the superhydrophobic zinc surface is 161.6° and the superhydrophobic PTFE is 166 °.The hydrophobic mechanism of the two surfaces was analyzed by Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR).The self-made secondary refrigeration equipment and centrifuge were used to investigate the icing behavior of superhydrophobic surface in low temperature environment.Experiments show that the superhydrophobic zinc surface can delay the water droplets to 600 s compared with normal zinc surface,superhydrophobic PTFE can delay the water droplets to 1200 s compared with normal PTFE surface.In the shear force test,it was found that the shear strength of the ice particles on the superhydrophobic zinc sheet was only 1/16 of the surface of the ordinary zinc sheet.The shear strength of the ice particles on the surface of the superhydrophobic PTFE was only 1/49 of the surface of the ordinary PTFE surface.
