| This work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China[grant numbers 31360397],the National International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Project[grant numbers 2015DFR30680,ky201401002]and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region special project.This study determined and analyzed the physical and chemical properties of camel fat and the application of camel fat in ointment preparations.The optimum formulation and preparation conditions of camel fat ointment were determined by sensory evaluation and stability test.The safety and efficacy of the ointment were ensured by the quality of the finished product.The physical and chemical properties of camel fat show that:(1)the physical and chemical indicators of camel fat compared with other ruminants,the overall performance of high acid value,iodine value,low peroxide value and the characteristics of tissue fat and milk fat and physical and chemical differences Significantly.Among them,the acid value,iodine value,saponification value and peroxide value of camel fat were 0.54mg/g,44.53g/100g,200.45mg/g,2.39mmol/kg respectively(2)Fatty acid composition analysis showed that the content of fatty acid was rich,including palmitic acid,stearic acid,oleic acid,palmitoleic acid and myristic acid,the contents were 33.5%,22.3%,30.91%,4.22%And 6.87%,as well as containing linoleic acid,linolenic acid,arachidonic acid,EPA and other unsaturated fatty acids,the total content of unsaturated fatty acids close to 40%,that camel fat is the high quality oil resources.Application of camel fat show that:The best production of camel fat ointment was A2B1C2,The oil phase was constituted by 20%camel oil,3g sixteen alcohol,2g silicone oil;emulsifier was constituted by Glycerol monostearate and Twain-80 at the mass ratio of 2:3.5;The emulsification conditions was,75℃ emulsifying 25min at the speed of 2000rmp/min homogeneous emulsion.The results showed that the effect of various factors on the properties of camel fat ointment was:oil composition>emulsifier>Homogeneous conditionsCamel fat ointment quality test and efficacy evaluation study shows that:(1)The determination of the sensory index,the physical and chemical indexes and microbial indexes shows that,camel fat ointment can meet the demands of national ointment health indicators,and can be used in the production and trial(2)From the viewpoint of pathology,camel fat ointment relief of symptoms of arthritis rats,by observing the morphological characteristics of rats,weight change,bone changes and ankle synovial biopsy pathology features of detection of serum IL-1 beta,TNF alpha cytokine levels and organs index and toes swelling rate,comprehensive analysis to get the camel fat ointment for relief of arthritis has a positive role. |
