Especially in high-purity quartz SiO2 purity 4N8 more high-end products and quartz glass,light industry,an important raw material.Preparation of high-purity quartz products monopolized by the United States,Germany,and limit the export of technology and products.So,how to explore a possible high-end products for preparing high-purity quartz technology is an important job.Firing technique in the extraction of rare earth chloride,isolated and poor metal,removal of certain metal elements experiment has been a lot of research,but in the preparation of high purity quartz but rarely reported.According to the relevant principles of this paper,the use of home-made equipment for testing.Quartz mine in Sichuan and other regions of the sample for the study,by the solid chlorinated NH4Cl roasting experiments to study the purification effect;chlorinated by gaseous Cl2roasting process test,study the optimum conditions;Cl2 gas by roasting and acid leaching sequence of high-purity quartz test sequence,and the application of the test quartz ore samples from different areas and come up with the preparation of high purity quartz 4N8 viable technology.After the quartz samples were NH4Cl JL01 solid state chlorination roasting method test,the total content of impurities 22.4ug/g,less than in ordinary processing method after 50.6ug/g,a description of this sample JL01 purification is feasible.After changing the amount of NH4Cl tested sample purification effect is not increased,wherein:Al elements,alkali metal elements,alkaline earth metal element did not change significantly,reduced content of transition metal elements.After changing the calcination temperature test,sample purification effect decreased after an initial increase,including:Al element content decreased,after rising alkali metal elements and alkaline earth metal elements in the first drop,a transition metal element content changed little.After the quartz samples were SY01 Cl2 gas chlorination roasting method test,the total content of impurities 24.6ug/g,less than in ordinary processing method after29.4ug/g,a description of this method for the purification SY01 sample is feasible.After making Cl2 gas chlorination roasting process test method to obtain gas flow rate was 600ml/min,calcination temperature of 900?,holding time is 60min to optimize the process parameters.After the impurity content of the sample after the test process optimization for 23.3ug/g,less than in ordinary processing method after 29.4ug/g,the effect is obvious.Wherein:the elements Al,alkaline earth metal elements,transition metal elements is better,and the alkali metal element is almost no effect.In quartz sample SY01 by chlorination roasting-acid leaching sequence after the test,the result is the first acid leaching rechlorination roasting,acid leaching rechlorination first roasting and then acid leaching sample test sequence for the purification effect is better than the other test sequence.Against No.SX01,SM01,YAS01,W03,DZJ04 total of five samples of vein quartz sample application tests,the results are SX01,SM01,purification effect YAS01 better achieve 4N8 purity quartz standard,suitable for further exploration.Where:purity test sample after SX01 very close 5N standards.
