chip,photovoltaic,optics,instrument,special material and special machine manufacturing and so on.It was important solid mineral resource which was desired for strategic emerging industry in the national exploration strategic breakthrough executive summary(2011-2020),it was rare in the world and was shortage in the civil.America monopolized global market for granite and granite pegmatite which was top level high purity quartz.At present our country maintained relevant low end industry just by hydrothermal low-end high purity quartz which was mainly spread over Jiangsu east sea and north Hubei.High purity quartz which was was hosted in qi chun was the represent for Hubei and Anhui,but the quantity of resource in main field which was qi chun has declined sharply since 1996,the reserve mineral resources was woefully inadequate.Researches of high purity quartz which was hosted in zao yang in the west of the ore zone did not gain any ground all the time from 1996 to 2010.The finding of high quality of high purity quartz in the zao yang mineral was a strong turn,and it was a breakthrough point of searching reserve mineral for ore zone which was hosted in qi chun.Thus it will be a urgent affairs that break through zao yang mineral as soon as possible and enlarge future quantity of resource of qi chun in the south then solving the reserve insufficient resource of qi chun.As far as be concerned the condition of our country,compared with America,the gap overall level was remarkable of research and development with high purity quartz in the civil and the enterprise aspired to transform.In the paper we chose the qi chun mineral and exploring potential zao yang mineral which was the traditional present of high purity quartz and was hosted in qi chun to research the mineral technology by development demand of countries and regions industry and subject and expected to find out the occurrence of impurity in the quartz intragranular,establish the natural high purity quartz fundamentally separation system,prepare high purity quartz quality-control sample and approaching 5N high purity quartz sample.The characteristic of high purity quartz mineral which was hosted in qi chun that gas liquid inclusion was less and essential component was quartz,impurity mineral generally were mica,clay mineral,hematite limonite,cal cite and so on,generally the SiO2 content was 97~98%,attice impurity was mainly heterogeneous and individual was homogeneous.The number of mineral which was hosted in qi chun was QC①SD900,mainly A130、A120,mesograin allotriomorphic granular structure.The particles gathered densely,the principal structure was blocky and sectional structure was stripped,intragranular included micro-nano stringer and geode,the distribution of Al in quartz lattice presented anti-zonal structure,the temperature of fluid which was removed completely was 1200℃.The number of mineral which was hosted in zao yang was ZY.ZY was A120,mesograin allotriomorphic granular structure and had more mica.Through the fundamental separation technology,the purity of SiO2 of QC①SD900 reached up to 99.992%,content of impurity element was balanced and belonged to 4N natural high purity quartz.The preparative QC①SD900 high purity quartz sample was regarded as raw material of arc copple by purity,granularity,size distribution,particle shape and so on and successfully trial-manufactured copple sample.What’s more,because of the approaching natural properties,adaptability between content of impurity element and discretion detection limit of ICP-OES,quality reached to the process requirement of arc copple,the stability date with impurity element of QCC①SD900,QC①SD900 was appropriated for quality-control sample of high purity quartz in our enterprise.And control quality in the major projects(ICP-OES purchasing,affirmation of unusual mineral and superior mineral)and as well as bore the perfect fruit.The finished copple and the implement of quality-control proved QC①SD900 high purity quartz meet the requirements of high purity quartz materials technology in practice,at the same time,mineral separation technology which was researched and demonstrated in the paper was practical and feasible.ZY was managed by three mineral separation technology,the result of 4N7 technology was the best result,the best technical condition was second time calcination temperature was 1050℃,sanding air-separation as well as dynamic acid leaching.Regarded 4N7 quartz as fundamental mineral,aiming at alkaline earth and Al,carried out dope salts of high temperature targeting technology for 4N7 quartz and gain the purified high purity quartz sand that purity was 99.9975%,that is 4N8 approaching 5N high purity quartz sample,the purity exceed IOTA-SG quartz,approached IOTA-4 quartz and promoted ZY to approaching 5N high purity quartz alignment.The consideration of preliminary analysis was the explanation for the mechanism of dope salts of high temperature was impurity in the particle surface of quartz was removed and dissolved through adsorption of salt melt because of the stability of superficial layer lattice was destroyed in the high temperature as well as activity was enhanced.All the research established evaluation system for exploration strategic breakthrough of high purity quartz which was the new type strategy mineral
