To investigate the function of thiolate axial ligand in cytochrome P-450 enzyme with the goal of producing a heterogeneous catalyst for cyclohexane oxidation, metal tetrakis(4-carboxphenyl)porphyrins(M TCPP)were supported on cadmium sulfide(CdS),forming M TCPP/CdS,via ion bond and coordination band between the cadmium sulfide and metal porphyrins. The catalytic performances of M TCPP/CdS for oxygen oxidation of cyclohexane were investigated, and a possible mechanism was proposed. This work mainly includes the following contents:The research advances of supported metalloporphyrins and relative catalytic oxidation of cyclohexane were summarized.Cadmium sulfide, metal tetrakis(4-carboxphenyl)porphyrins and the corresponding immobilized metalloporphyrins were prepared based on reference literatures. The catalytic materials were characterized by UV-Vis,FT-IR,TG,SEM,BET and XPS techniques. The catalytic performances of M TCPP/CdS were investigated in cyclohexane oxidation without any solvents and reducing agents. The optimum reaction conditions for the catalytic oxidation of cyclohexane over M TCPP/CdS were determined by single factor variable method. Moreover, the comparison of M TCPP/CdS and the corresponding unsupported metalloporphyrins for cyclohexane oxidation, and the reuse of M TCPP/CdS were studied. The experimental results show that 1.00 mg of metalloporphyrin contained in the M TCPP/CdS can be used 9 times for the cyclohexane oxidation.M TCPP/CdS catalysts present better catalytic performances and reusability for oxidation of cyclohexane than those of the unimmobilized catalyst, and follow the order of Co TCPP/CdS>Fe TCPP/CdS>Mn TCPP/CdS.According to the control experiments and other related references,a radical reaction mechanism was proposed for the oxygen oxidation of cyclohexane over M TCPP/CdS.
