Manual assembly of heat exchanger of gas water heater suffers the problem of low efficiency and the unstable quality,so the design and research of automatic assembly equipment of heat exchanger is of important engineering significance.Through the analysis and study automatic assembly process of heat exchanger,we put forward a set of the overall scheme about the automatic assembly line,and designed and optimized the key structure for each station,and design the control system and test the prototype.In this paper,the main work and achievements are as follows:(1)Based on the demand of the heat exchanger assembly line the first phase and assembly process.function model and behavior model was established,and after comparison the suitable function principle solution was found out to determine the overall structure scheme.(2)Statics analysis on manipulator was conducted and the optimization was conducted according to the analysis results.Then based on the optimization result,the optimization model with end deformation quantity as constraint condition and minimum volume as purpose was established.And then Isight was used to integrate Ansys and Pro/E to establish approximate optimization mathematical model.Finally,optimization algorithm was employed to optimize the manipulator structure parameters.(3)The error sources affecting the position error of the manipulator were analyzed.Based on multibody system concept,manipulator error model was established to conduct precision analysis on its position error.With the goal of minimum cost and precision reliability as constraint condition,the statics error was designed.And finally,dynamics error and statics error were combined to conduct overall optimization on position precision.(4)The control system design of the first stage of the assembly line was completed and the prototype was manufactured.In this paper,the automatic design of assembly line was carried out,and the structure and positioning accuracy of the manipulator were optimized.The results show that the optimization not only meets the performance requirements,but also reduces the volume and cost.Therefore,This thesis can provide reference for researching the structure and precision optimization of manipulator of heat exchanger automatic assembly line and has relatively higher engineering application values to improve the automation level of heat exchanger.
