Study On The Environmental-Friendly Maturity Model For Large-scale Projects

With the development of social productivity and progress of modern science and technology,large-scale projects play a more and more important role.There are some special features in large-scale projects,such as a long life cycle,multi-stakeholder,complex management and so on,which put a tremendous impact on the environment.Therefore,it is important to find a systematic way to evaluate and improve the environmental management ability of large-scale projects."Environmental-friendly" was first put forward in "The 21st Century Agenda" in 1992,which means a state of positive interaction to the environment.Based on some common maturity models,this thesis has expounded the meaning of the environmental-friendly large-scale projects from three dimensions:the subject dimension,the time dimension,and the indicators dimension.Then the environmental-friendly maturity model for large-scale projects is established.The model contains the maturity appraisal index system and some key progress areas(KPA).The key progress areas can be used to analyze the environmental-friendly maturity of large-scale projects.Finally,this thesis has discussed the application feasibility of the model and explained the application progress.After analyzing the environmental-friendly maturity of large-scale projects,there are some key actions for the project in the low step.The results of this thesis would serve as a useful guidance for the large-scale projects to improve environmental management ability,thus making the large-scale projects more and more environmental-friendly.
