At present,the combustion of coal and fossil fuels has led to a rapid increase in NOx emissions,which has led to a growing number of air pollution problems.It is imperative to control NOx emissions because air pollution not only brings inconvenience to human life,but also has a serious impact on life health.At present,activated carbon can be used as adsorbent,reducing agent,catalyst and catalyst carrier in NOx removal.Because of its wide range of sources,low price and stable nature,activated carbon has good application prospect in denitrification field.Based on the previous studies,the adsorption and reduction properties of activated carbon,activated carbon,KOH,metal oxide,KOH and metal oxide were studied.The effects of temperature,O2,H2O,SO2 and other factors were investigated.The denitrification process was carried out by adsorbing NO on the activated carbon,and then removing the NOx from the adsorbed state.KOH modified activated carbon has a rich adsorption sites and a larger pore structure,these structures improve the adsorption capacity ofNO.Metal oxide modified activated carbon has a high catalytic activity for NO adsorption and reduction.The KOH and metal oxide compound modified activity has all the properties of the two single modification,not only improve the NO catalytic oxidation activity and adsorption capacity,but also reduces the NO catalytic reduction temperature and oxygen consumption of carbon.H2O and NO in the activated carbon on the existence of competitive adsorption,warming can reduce the H2O on the competitive role of NO.At a certain temperature,the modified activated carbon can catalyze the reaction of H2O with carbon to produce CO and catalyze the reduction of NO.KOH+Co+Ni/AC at the temperature above 200?,the presence of water in the presence of NO reduction reaction.SO2 reacts with the active component on the activated carbon catalyst,resulting in a decrease in catalyst activity.Which affects the catalytic adsorption and catalytic reduction of NO.Under the condition of aerobic condition at 150?,KOH+Co+Ni/AC adsorbs NO,and then restores the anaerobic environment at 300?.Mn+Fe/AC adsorbs NO at aerobic conditions at 150? and then enters NH3 at 150?.Under Mn+Fe/AC catalysis,the NOx can be reduced.H2O and SO2 affect the aerobic adsorption process,but the adsorption H2O and SO2 have little effect on the reduction of adsorbed NOx.Due to the adsorption and reduction of activated carbon,the active components are consumed,the surface oxygen-containing functional groups are reduced and the structure is changed,resulting in reduced adsorption capacity of activated carbon.
