PVC is the main component of PVC resin,is a universal,it is huge production,good comprehensive performance,low price and adequate sources of raw materials,PVC products have good corrosion resistance,good insulation properties,excellent wear resistance,and also has good flame retardancy,transparency and chemical resistance.PVC production methods,according to the synthesis of monomer can be divided into two kinds of electric stone and ethylene process.China has abundant limestone,coal and other stable reliable resources,that makes the cost in the production of PVC by calcium carbide process is far lower than the ethylene method,so the carbide method is still dominant in the domestic PVC market.In the calcium carbide process PVC production costs,the raw material calcium carbide accounted for more than 75%,so the control of calcium carbide consumption is of great significance to reduce the cost of production.At present,the production of PVC by calcium carbide acetylene method is still in a very low level with great consumption and amazing waste,calcium carbide consumption quota is generally high.Chlor alkali industry is a high energy consumption industry,and is also control and focus on by country.Energy saving and emission reduction work is related to the future survival and development of the entire enterprise,but also related to the enterprise's own economic benefits.This paper mainly focuses on Zhongtai chemical co.LTD as the research object by consulting related data and field investigation of the enterprise,studied the technological process of preparation of PVC by calcium carbide method,carefully analys the engineering data and the causes of loss in each section of calcium carbide,summarize the differences and advantages of different production processes and reduction measures,try to "the quality of the source,the weathering of calcium carbide calcium carbide,acetylene section,control section,PVC Vinyl Chloride Process "and other aspects of reducing the consumption of calcium carbide quota scheme,To reduce the consumption of calcium carbide and reduce the energy consumption of the comprehensive economic analysis,effectively reduce the consumption of calcium carbide,for greater economic efficiency,for the future to win a better space for development.At the same time,in view of the problems existing in the calcium carbide process PVC and the characteristics of the loss of calcium carbide,On the basis of the existing measures of reducing calcium carbide consumption,some suggestions on technical and management ideas are put forward,make the calcium carbide method PVC calcium carbide consumption measures to get more proper management and operation in this study,the improved process measures,January 2014 Huatai carbide dosage is 91502t,the production of PVC resin 65880t,calcium carbide average gas is 293L/kg,in order to calculate the consumption of calcium carbide 1.389t/(T-PVC),equivalent to the standard calcium carbide(300L/kg)consumption was 1.422 t/(T-PVC),compared to 2013 average annual consumption of 1.433 calcium carbide t/(t PVC)has been significantly reduced,with the improvement of workers on process improvement measures as well as process,that can further reduce the consumption of calcium carbide.The results show that the improved technologies can effectively reduce the consumption of calcium carbide,has high economic benefit and social benefit.
