The roadway of straight wall and semicircular arch is one of the most widely used roadways in coal mine, It is of great theoretical and practical value to study the mechanism of deformation and failure of semicircular archway roadway, the factors that affect the deformation and failure of roadway and the support technology of roadway.In this paper, the semicircular archway with straight wall is taken as the research object, Firstly, the mechanism of deformation and failure of semicircular archway in straight wall is analyzed by theoretical analysis method,so the five main factors influencing the deformation and failure of roadway are obtained: lateral pressure coefficient, surrounding rock vertical pressure, cohesion, internal friction angle, tensile strength. Then, the influence of different influencing factors on the deformation and failure of semicircular archway in straight wall is analyzed by FLAC3D numerical simulation. The five main control factors were analyzed by numerical simulation and orthogonal test, and we will get their order of deformation and failure of semicircular arch roadway, the order of significance of the plastic zone of the roadway is: internal friction angle> lateral pressure coefficient>vertical stress> cohesion>tensile strength;the influence of the five main control factors on the comprehensive deformation of the roadway is: internal friction angle>lateral pressure coefficient>cohesion>tensile strength> vertical stress, the internal friction angle is the most important factor affecting the deformation and failure of roadway.According to the coal mine of Xiaoyun east belt roadway for the project background, a new roadway restoration scheme is proposed for the full failure section of the roadway, based on the theoretical and numerical simulation results, the parameters of roadway support and grouting are optimized. Finally, the combination of high-strength anchor rod, anchor cable + thick steel mesh + grouting+sprayed concrete+bottom angle anchor+channel steel beam to form the reverse reinforcement method. And then on the site of the repair program monitoring, monitoring data and on-site deformation can be seen, the new roadway repair program can effectively control the roadway rock deformation, to meet the normal production needs of the mine.
