Dry granulation technology can fundamentally solve the problem of original wet milling on high energy consumption,high pollution problem in the ceramic industry.Howere,particles have been produced by the existing granulation equipment have defects like irregular shape,solid particles,grain hardness,which lead to some phenomenons like the forming process is easily delamination,body strength is low,body surface is rough.So the study on granulation process of dry granulation machine has very important engineering significance.Combining with the national natural science fund project "The Key Kechnology Research on Mechanism and Equipment of New Energy-Saving Dry Granulation in Ceramic Industry"(project number:51365018),the article implements numerical simulation analysis on granulation process of dry granulation machine,the main contents are as follows:(1)Combining with basic knowledge of the computational fluid dynamics theory.In order to analysis granulation process of dry granulation machine by the numerical simulation,three dimensional model of the leaf blade and reameris are established by Solidworks software,then the model is completed preprocessor in the GAMBIT and mixing special software Mixsim.(2)The structure optimization analysises the granulation equipment Angle,the stirring shaft eccentricity and the minimum distance between leaf blade and cylinder.The results shows that the decentralization of particles is the best in the cylinder body,when the granulation equipment angle is 30°,stirring shaft eccentricity is 0mm and the minimum distance between leaf blade and cylinder is 15mm.(3)The parameters optimization analysises rotational speed of the stirring shaft,rotational speed of the cylinder and the initial amount of particles.The results shows that the decentralization of particles is better in the cylinder body,when rotational speed of the stirring shaft is 240 RPM,rotational speed of the cylinder is ORPM and the initial volume accounted for a quarter of the cylinder volume.(4)The numerical simulation analysis on granulation process temperature field.The results shows that:the distribution of particles will increase sharply in the temperature region of 80?,when granulating time is larger than 6min.The situation will result in the loss of plastic particles,thus affecting the granulation effect.Granulating time must be controlled within 6min.The research achievements of this paper have certain reference value for the accumulation and improvement of ceramic dry granulation technology.
