With the quality and performance of the new bar are demanded more and more highly,the bar during water spray cooling should be more accurate.Through controlling the process of temperature changes of the bar during water spray cooling,which can improve its the internal organization,the strength and the toughness.Therefore,it is very important to research the temperature changes during the bar through water spray cooling.The cooling process of bar is simulated with the numerical calculation method of Finite Element Coupling Field.Based on changing the pressure and the angle of water entry,the temperature changes rules of rod through water cooling are studied.The appropriate parameters of controlled cooling are gained by comparing the simulation results.Based on the related theoretical research,a set of water cooling experiment platform with high efficiency is designed.The main research contents are as follows:First of all,the computational fluid model of bar during water spray cooling is established with the help of fluid simulation software FLUENT.In the process of rod during water cooling,fluid flow and the temperature change in the bar are researched.According to the simulation results,it can be found that when the fluid flow past the expansion and contraction zone areas in the cooling pipe,the turbulent flow phenomenon will happen because of the speed difference.The simulation results show that the local turbulence will break the steam membrane of the cooling water,the bar which makes its surface contact with cooling water adequately and improves the cooling efficiency.In the process of bar during cooling water,its will decrease quickly.When the surface temperature of bar reaches a certain temperature,its cooling temperature will maintain constant.Secondly,changing water pressure and angle of the water entry,the temperature change rules of the bar through water cooling are simulated.In the same time,the results show that the water pressure affects prominently the temperature changes of the bar,while the injection angle has a little effect.What's more,it should be noticed that big angle will hamper the cooling efficiency.Compared the simulating results,the suitable water pressure and angle parameters are selected to establish the bar water cooling experiment platform.Then,the water experiment platform is designed,which including heater,transporter and cooling pipe.The electromagnetic induction heating are selected and the heating frequency,power and coil number of turns are designed and calculated;the conveyer motor of the roller is calculated and selected.Finally,The high credibility of the bar cooling simulation is validated by the field experiment.
