Ionic liquid is a kind of organic liquid salt which is completely consist of positive ion and negative ion at room temperature or close to.The characteristics of ionic liquid are:colorless,odorless,low melting point,steam pressure small,the larger the liquid scope and better chemical stability,etc.These characteristics of ionic liquid make it become one of the hot spot of contemporary chemistry.One-pot synthesis is to point to finish steps of reaction or times of operation in one pot without separating the middle product.It is a kind of high efficient synthesis method and green synthetic way which has high efficiency,high selectivity,simple procedure and mild reaction condition.In the past twenty years,one-pot synthesis has become hot fields in the organic synthesis.In this paper,many kinds of thiazolo[3,2-a]pyridines which has important biological and pharmaceutical activities were synthesized by using alkaline ionic liquids as catalyst through one-pot reaction of malononitrile/ethyl cyanoacetate/phenylsulphonylacetonitrile,methyl thioglycolate,aldehyde.This paper optimizes the conditions of the reaction and discuss the possible mechanism of the reaction,the products were characterized by ~1H NMR,MS,IR.
