Polypropylene(Polypropylene,PP)as a kind of common polymer materials,has become the third largest after polyethylene,polyvinyl chloride(PVC)general plastic,is plastic in the production of the fastest growing varieties,is widely used in various fields of industrial production,it has a good mechanical properties,heat resistance and weather resistance,especially in the aspect of plastic tubing occupies very important position.This article through to the existing in the market now polypropylene pipe,polypropylene noise reduction mechanism analysis,combined with the research status of polypropylene mute core layer material at home and abroad,to explore polypropylene core layer material formula,and its performance was tested.By density method to measure the mute the density of core layer material,using universal testing machine to test the mechanics performance of the mute core layer,with the vicat softening temperature,differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)test the mute the thermal performance of the core layer,using an electron microscope(SEM)to observe the microstructure of mute core layer material.The experimental results show that,first of all,adding inorganic filler BaSO4 polypropylene composites can reach urban construction industry standards,when adding amount was 70%,the density of the material to reach requirement,but the material mechanics performance,thermal performance slightly less.So,followed by adding the coupling agent,mute core layer material section electron microscopy found that the compatibility of inorganic fillers and the matrix resin to improve,make the material mechanics performance,thermal performance also increase,and when the coupling agent content is 1.2%to 1.2%,the comprehensive performance of the material is best.Again,by adding cross-linking agent,crosslinking agent,observed the mute core layer of the cross section of electron microscope found mute core layer material,headstrong fracture,and as crosslinking agent,crosslinking agent amount respectively 0.02%,0.04%,0.6%or so of the time the best effect.Comparison of crosslinking agent dicumyl peroxide(DCP),benzoyl peroxide(BPO),styrene aid crosslinking agent,turpentine,found that the effect of DCP is excellent in BPO,the effect of turpentine is excellent in styrene.,then studied the influence of other additives on properties of mute core layer material,the addition of lubricant can improve the rheological properties of mute core layer material,so as to improve the processing performance,and when the amount of sodium stearate and polyethylene wax works best when 0.1%and 0.1%,respectively.The addition of pigment on the mute core layer material performance is affected,but could improve the appearance of the material.Finally,laboratory research into the formula for the pilot,in the end it is concluded that the product meets the requirement of national production mute tube.
