In China, with the expansion of the consumerism and life style, the citizens' daily life style and behavior has also largely played an important role in environmental pollution and destruction. This study, regarded Chinese citizens as the research object and combined psychological factors with structural factors, has screened out and defined research variables as well as having constructed a model which is the effect of the civic consciousness and class identity on environmental behavior. It also combines with CGSS2010 questionnaire data and uses Stata12.0 descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and the mediation effect test to come to conclusions in the following according to the data analysis results which verify the hypothesis is set up or not.Firstly, the overall level of our citizens to implement environmental behavior tends to be low. Three kinds of environmental behaviors includes ecological management behavior, consumer behavior and citizenship behavior. The implementation degree of the first two is far higher than the third one because that most citizens apply their behavior to environment still stays on the shallow level and their understanding of environmental behavior still exists mistakes.Secondly, in the objective class identity, only education dimensions has a significant impact on ecological management behavior. Additionally, what has a significant influence on consumer behavior is including education and organizational resources possession; what has a significant influence on citizenship behavior is only organization resources possession.Whereas, subjective stratum status has a significant impact on ecological management behavior, consumer behavior and citizenship behavior. Those who have a lower stratum identity are easier to implement ecological management behavior and consumer behavior;citizens who have a higher subjective class status will be easier to implement citizenship behavior.Thirdly, civic consciousness including four dimensions which is public responsibility consciousness, contract rights awareness, political participation and public affairs concerning. But the effect of the first one and the fourth one on ecological management behavior and consumer behavior is more obvious and the influence of the third one on citizenship behavior is most outstanding. In addition, the study found that the objective class identity also affects the ecological management behavior and consumer behavior according to citizen consciousness. All in all, citizen consciousness, class identity has some significant effects on environmental behavior. Finally, according to the main findings and conclusions, we propose some points about how to promote citizen to implement more environmental behaviors and hope that they can bring inspiration to the relevant practitioners.
