In the coal production field,a practical engineering requirement is to handle the amount of belt conveyor's material by real-time detection,so as to control speed for handling material in accordance with the amount of change,to achieve high efficiency measurement and energy saving purposes.In order to meet the fast,accurate and stable coal measured amount of material parameters of the actual project requirements engineering information through comparative analysis of various measurement methods,this paper studies the use of laser scanners as a sensor to measure the amount of program delivery.The method is based modern new non-contact measurement technology,reaching the measurement speed,high precision,small error,stability and reliable results.Firstly,this paper analyzes and compares the various non-contact measurement method for the project,identified a measurement of using a laser scanner sensor program to study the calculation principle of laser scanners with throughput measurement principle,determined the measurement parameters and installation parameter settings and communication connection scheme.Then I do the overall design of the measuring system and the design of hardware and software systems.Based on the above analysis and design,in Quartus ? Environment ? use Verilog HDL prepared the detection and control procedures,to achieve a throughput detection systems,and for laboratory experiments.Finally,in laboratory experiments measuring system was constructed on the cross-sectional area to detect experimentally tested,and the measurement results and error analysis.After laboratory tests to verify the feasibility of the measurement program,the development of practical engineering application system provides a valuable test prototype systems and detection parameters based.
