With the development of national economy and transportation industries,Pipeline transportation get more and more attention.As a new composite material,steel skeleton plastic clad pipe has been widely used for its' corrosion resistance,wear resistance and high strength.It is mainly produced by injection molding.During the production process,because of the irrational technology and the soft of the Positioning nails,the steel skeleton will offset under the pressure of the melt and it will lose its' position.By the use of Moldflow and ANSYS,this article analyzed the steel skeleton deformation in the injection molding of steel skeleton plastic clad pipe elbow.First,analyzed the flowing characteristics of melt,the pressure of steel skeleton,the temperature and the distribution of cavitations.After disposed,the pressure of steel skeleton was applied in the ANSYS to simulate the offset of the steel skeleton and analysis the main reason of offset.Through the simulation,the sizes of sprue were not properly which caused a imperfect flow of melt.The collocation of exhaust holes were not properly which easily to form cavitations.The collocation of the positioning nails were not properly which made the steel skeleton lost position earlier.The result of simulation conform to the fact after compared with the date of products.The optimization program has been determined to solve the problems in the former program.The sizes of sprue and the collocation of the positioning nails has been modified.Through the simulation,the optimization program has been proved can improve the quality of steel skeleton plastic clad pipe elbow.This article had simulated the injection molding,found the problems in the production process,made the optimization program to improve the quality of products,and also reduced the production costs.By the use of Moldflow and ANSYS,this article find a way to simulate the injection molding of steel skeleton plastic clad materials.This article had put forward a program to locate the steel skeleton and also provided a reference for the injection molding of other pipes.
