Steel wire is widely used in production and life of people.With the development of modern technology,people have higher requirements on the quality of steel wire.Because the diameter of the wire is very small,by the limit of process,steel wire usually coiled coils when supplied to users.In order to get rid of the bending,the steel wire should be straightened before used.At present,there are two kinds of straightening methods: parallel roller type and rotary type.According to the advantages and disadvantages of these two straightening methods,a new straightening method: tnnsion leveling of steel wire,is put forward.This thesis gives the tensile force and bending moment formulars of steel wire on the condition of unilateral plastic when it is bending and stretching,summarizes parameters of tnnsion leveling of steel wire,and completes the calculation of parameters,such as roll diameter,rolling reduction,tension and so on.The steel wire,diameter of 2mm and curving,is the straightening object.With the finite element software ABAQUS,it builds the dynamic simulation of the process of tension leveling,analyzes stress and strain in the process of straightening,and verifies the theoretical analysis.By virtue of the surface residual stress of the straightened wire and the straightness accuracy,the straightening quality of wire is evaluated.By the orthogonal test and straightening simulation,the influence laws of the diameter of the roller,wrap angle and tension for the quality of the wire are got,as well as the influencing order degree and the best combination of straightening parameters.Taking factors of straightness and section shrinkage rate into account,the optimal process parameters are got.Based on the optimal parameters combination,the wire straightening quality is improved by adjusting the parameters appropriately,and the influence of wrap angle ? on straightness is confirmed.
