Hydrogenation reactor is the critical components of petroleum and chemical industry.Due to the special work environment,which works in a station of high temperature,high pressure and hydrogenous for a long time,so it is made of Cr-Mo steel.12Cr2Mo1 R steel is the preferred material when manufactures the hydrogenation reactor,but the middle-thick steel plate is long-term dependence on imported,and China developed it successfully until in 2005.In the actual industrial production,the research on this domestic steel grade is not deep,and it brings certain difficulties on the process of manufacturing hydrogenation reactor.For the 12Cr2Mo1 R steel plate made in China,first,we carried on the welding performance analysis,then we studied the main shell butt welding and surfacing process of single layer thick wall,inner wall surfacing welding double stainless steel structure,and the transition layer material is TP.309 L,the surface layer(the corrosion resistant layer)is TP.347.The experimental results show that 12Cr2Mo1 R is a new grade steel of manufacturing the hydrogenation reactor.When the impact absorbing energy is 54 J,the transition temperature increment Trv Tv545.254(28)(35)(10)r-43?,Conform to the technical requirements of Trv Tv545.254?(35)(10)r 10?.It shows that this material is pure,and no matter from the material chemical composition,mechanical properties,resistance to hydrogen embrittlement ability,it could satisfy the hydrogenation equipment manufacture and use requirement.We carried on the welding performance analysis of 12Cr2Mo1 R steel.It including inclined Y type groove welding crack test and reheat cracking resistance test.The selection of welding materials,clean up and preheat temperature before welding,heat treatment temperature after welding is important influence on the quality of the weld.Only by selecting rational parameters can meet the quality requirements of weld line.Aiming at the main shell welding,we choose two kinds of welding materials which made of Kobe Steel and Bole Group;In view of the surfacing,we choose two kinds of welding zone which made of WEL of Japan and EASB of Sweden.And we made the process and performance comparison.The chemical composition analysis and mechanical performance test results show that,the welding materials made of Kobe Steel and the welding zone produced by ESAB Company can meet the engineering requirements.The surfacing with band-electrode of 12Cr2Mo1 R stainless steel include 60×0.5mm submerged arc combined electroslag surfacing and 60×0.5mm Stainless steel electroslag double deck surfacing.Submerged-arc surfacing penetration and parent metal dilution rate is bigger.Electroslag surfacing welding penetration is shallower and parent metal dilution rate is lower,and the adhesion strength of the surfacing layer and base material is small.Accroding to mechanical properties,the physical and chemical properties,microstructure and intercrystalline corrosion resistance test of the surfacing welding layer,we finally determine the best welding process scheme is the combination of submerged arc welding and electroslag surfacing.
