Carbon fiber and its composite materials because of its small density,high strength,thermal expansion,ablation and other excellent performance,used in aerospace,military defense and other fields,is the manufacture of advanced weapons and equipment in the key material,of which about 20% of carbon fiber The composite material is used in the form of various carbon fiber woven fabrics.In particular the low-density carbon fiber multi-axial warp knitted fabric,because of its structural characteristics,with many excellent mechanical properties,good design,high production effic iency,is widely used in resin transfer molding process.Therefore,the study of low-density carbon fiber multi-axia l warp knitted fabric and its prepreg for the promotion of composite materials is of great significance.This paper first explains the principle of yarn display,and then to T700 grade 24 K carbon fiber as the research object we carried out the yarn technology research.The influence of yarn parameters such as fiber tension,cluster agent content,irradiation temperature and vibration frequency on the effect of yarn display was studied.The optimum yarn parameters were obtained.Secondly,the knitted fabrics of NC F fabric were studied at +45° /-45° and 0° / 90°.The fabric was fabricated by studying the weaving equipment,fiber running speed and warp knitting specifications.According to the apparent quality and mechanical properties of the fabric,the paper summed up the fabric production in the optimal process parameters.Finally,the subject has developed a flexible resin with good matching properties and excellent mechanical properties.By optimizing the prepreg production process parameters,the 24 K carbon fiber mult i-axial low density prepreg is produced.The mechanical properties of the prepreg were evaluated,including tensile properties,bending properties and shear properties.In addition,the mechanical properties of single-axial / multi-axial T700 grade carbon fiber prepreg and single axial / mult i-axial T300 grade carbon fiber prepreg were studied in this paper.The experimental results show that the mechanical properties of T700 grade carbon fiber prepreg is better.Moreover,the mechanical properties of T700 grade three-axis carbon fiber prepreg also meet the project requirements.
