Measurement of geometrical parameters is an important part of industrial measurements,the measured result is one of the important means to ensure the quality of the products,the measured efficiency directly affects the productive efficiency.Along with the development and progress of the production methods,the instrument can be combined to achieve high precision and high efficiency,so that it can meet the needs of modern industrial measurements.With the rapid development of mechanical manufacturing industry and steel industry,the application of saw blade is more and more extensive,and the performance requirements of the saw blades are much stricter.The saw blade geometrical parameters are important index of the saw blade property.It is necessary to design a visual measuring instrument for saw blade geometrical parameters to ensure the quality of the products and to improve the efficiency of blade geometrical parameters because of the poor efficiency of the traditional measurement methods.Through the research on the application and function of the saw blade geometrical parameters,the measurement scheme of blade parameters is constructed.The blade fixing device,working table,vertical arm bracket and other mechanical structure are designed,providing the hardware and equipment support system for the measurement of the saw blade.According to the the demand of the parameters accuracy of the blade technology,image sensor and image acquisition card are selected reasonably.Based on the characteristics of saw blade and geometrical parameters,reasonable lighting system is designed after the study of the light source system and multi group experiments.The software of the measurement system is developed based on Lab VIEW,realizing image acquisition,image processing,image feature extraction and geometrical parameters measurement.Finally,the experimental results are compared to verify the accuracy and reliability of the measurement system,demonstrating the reliability of the measurement system.
