Zhangye is located in the inland,arid region of China.National Wetland Park in Zhangye,is not only one of the AAAAA national nature reserves,but also is the typical river wetland ecosystem in the northwestern area of China.Zhangye National Wetland Park contributes a lot to the natural screen to maintain the ecological equilibrium between urban and local ecosystem.It also acts as the material basis to conserve the water and soil.Zhangye National Wetland Park has very important ecological functions as regulating the climate,material production,retaining water,etc.Current studies which focused on wetland have become the advancing subject in the research of regional and environmental economics.This thesis used Zhangye National Wetland Park as example,applying the service evaluation method to the evaluation of wetland ecosystem.For the sake of studying the monetization of ecological functions of wetland,this thesis also conducts quantitative analysis to the effect of society,economy,and culture.In order to acquire overall,scientific,and quantitative assessment results of the current situation of the ecosystem in Zhangye,this thesis also draw the aid of some mature evaluation methods like market value method,shadow project,carbon tax method and so on.As a result,these adapted evaluation methods offer valuable data to the construction,environment monitors and study of wetland,converts each functions into monetary value intuitively,highlights the importance of wetland reserve to the development of regional economy,and contribute a lot to fully recognize the significance of wetland in urban areas to the sustainable urban development.In sum,this thesis offers scientific and effective theories to the development,protection and management of the wetland ecosystem in China.Furthermore,it also endeavors to search for the most suitable management mode of wetland ecosystem,finally to ensure the eco-friendly urban development which supported by sustainable and health wetland eco system.
