In order to throw light on the changes of atmospheric environmental quality, study how air pollutants and meteorological factors change and find out the impact of meteorological factors on air pollutants in Altay City, data were collected including PM10,SO2 and NO2 daily concentration from 2005 to 2014 as well as meteorological factor data from 1960 to 2014 including mean temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, precipitation, the average wind speed and sunshine duration.Statistical methods were used such as R/S analysis method to analyze the temporal variation of air pollution, probe into the characteristics of climate change in recent 55 years and discuss the influence of meteorological conditions on air pollutants.Give the result as follows:?1?The temporal variation of air pollutants in Altay City. The inter-annual variation of PM10 in Altay City showed an upward trend, reaching a peak at 0.039 mg/m3 in 2013;SO2 and NO2 showed a slowly increasing trend,of which reached its peak at 0.018 mg/m3 in 2011 and 0.016 mg/m3 in 2014 respectively.PM10 changes showed a "bimodal" curve, with peaks at 0.036 mg/m3 and 0.032 mg/m3 in January and September,respectively;SO2 and NO2 showed typical "U" curve, reaching a summit in November to December and January to February and bottoming out in May to September. The seasonal variation of PM10 was higher in autumn and winter,0.032 mg/m3,followed by summer and lowest in spring. The seasonal variation of SO2 and NO2 showed the highest in winter, followed by autumn and lowest in summer, and SO2 was higher than NO2 in winter.Concentrations of PM10,SO2 and NO2 in heating period were significantly higher than that in nonheating period, which were 0.032 mg/m3,0.018 mg/m3,0.015 mg/m3 comparing to 0.028 mg/m3,0.006 mg/m3,0.009 mg/m3.?2?The variation trend of meteorological factors in Altay City. From 1960 to 2014,the average temperature of each season eased up except that in summer; The precipitation in winter creep up significantly, remained plane in spring and summer and ebbed slowly in autumn; The average wind speed in each season subsided gently; The average relative humidity of seasonal variation were different, with winter reducing 0.020% per day;The pressure reached a peak in winter and bottomed out in summer; The seasonal variation of sunshine duration stayed unvarying. From 2005-2014,the average temperature of each season eased down smoothly except that in spring; The precipitation swelled yearly in summer and autumn while existed in opposite trend in spring and winter; The average wind speed decreased linearly both yearly and seasonally;Relative humidity showed a linear increasing trend in spring, summer and autumn yearly.Inter-annual reduction of sunshine duration was 0.7582 h per day, among which spring increased at 1.03 h per day while summer, autumn and winter decreased at 0.5265 h per day,1.7036 h per day and 0.8276 h per day.?3?The influence of meteorological factors on atmospheric pollutants.PM10 occurred at a higher level of pollution on the condition that the average temperature was lower than-10?,no precipitation and high pressure happened, wind speed was less than or equal to 1.5m/s,the relative humidity was greater than 70%,sunshine duration was less than 8.2h.It came for SO2 and NO2 only when sunshine duration was greater than 8.2h.The correlation between the mass concentration of PM10,SO2 and NO2 and the meteorological factors in Altay City was different in different seasons, but the correlation was not that significant.?4?R/S analysis results.H value of PM10 is 0.47,of which the spring, summer, autumn and winter were 0.60,0.51,0.64 and 0.69 respectively, situating between 0.5-1 in Altay City;H value of SO2 and NO2 were 0.39;H values of the other three seasons were less than 0.5 in addition to fall.In view of this,PM10 pollution will continue to intensify and SO2 and NO2 will decrease in the future.
