The carboxylic acids have many advantages such as the good solubility,strong coordination ability,variety of the coordination modes.Carboxylic acid ligands have the potential to form coordination bonds with metal ions and have the potential to form weak interactions between ligands.The high stability and intriguing structures of the metal coordination polymer with the carboxylic acid ligands make the research of porous coordination polymers constructed by dicarboxylic acid bridging ligands have attracted much attention.The aromatic polycarboxylic acid ligands are not only beneficial to the crystal growth,but also contribute to the synthesis of rigid porous coordination polymer materials with special functions such as light,electricity and magnetism.In the first chapter,the research and application of the complexes containing 5-aminoisophthalic acid and benzamide compounds are introduced,and the purpose and significance of this thesis are described.In the second chapter,5-(4-nitrobenzamido)isophthalic acid,5-(4-bromobenzamido)isophthalic acid,5-(4-hydroxybenzamido)isophthalic acid,5-(4-methylbenzamido)isophthalic acid and 5-benzamide isophthalic acid were synthesized and their synthetic methods were discussed.The optimized synthetic route was obtained.Using these organic compounds as the first ligands,and(2-substituted benzoimidazol-1-yl)propane as the second ligand,several transition metal coordination polymers were synthesized.In the third chapter,two mixed-ligand transition metal coordination polymers,{[Co(aip)(bbp)]?(H2O)}n(1)and {[Ni2(aip)(Hbbop)2]?(H2O)2}n(2)(H2aip = 5-aminoisophthalic acid,bbp = 1,3-bis(benzoimidazol-2-yl)propane,H2 bbop = 1,3-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)-2-oxapropane)were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses,and thermogravimetric analyses.The electrochemical,DNA binding and catalytic properties of two complexes are investigated.In the fourth chapter,two cadmium(II)coordination polymers,{[Cd2(HO-bdc)-(Hbbop)2]}n(3),and {[Cd2(H2N-bdc)(Hbbop)2]?2(H2O)}n(4),(HO-H2bdc = 5-hydroxyisophthalic acid,H2N-H2bdc = 5-aminoisophthalic acid,and H2 bbop = 1,3-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)-2-oxapropane)have been synthesized,and characterized by elemental analyses,and thermogravimetric analyses.The fluorescent,and catalytic properties of two complexes are investigated.
