Form grinding gets more and more concerned by academia and industrya due to the advantages of convenience on modification,good versatility and high precision in machining and is widely used as a main process of modification for hard-surface gears.Gear modification can greatly reduce the stress concentration,transmission noise,bearing capacity and transmission accuracy,and it is very important to improve the performance of gear transmission.However,high-precision gear grinding technology has long been monopolized by foreign countries.The grinding technology of complex curve generation of the country is far from the advanced level of foreign countries.In this paper,the compensation model of gear twist error and interference error is established by the calculation of the model from the shape of the grinding gears and the tool.It has important practical application value for forming high-precision modified gear.Main content and study method is as following.Firstly,The model of forming tool profile and gear profile is established.According to the relation of teeth form grinding,the forming contact line is calculated,the influence of grinding wheel parameters on contact line form is discussed,the smoothest fitting method is chosen to fit the grinding wheel points.Secondly,modelling on gear twist error in form grinding.In this paper,a method for compensating the gear twist error of tooth surface in form grinding is proposed by analysising the mechanism of tooth surface twist and calculating the kinematic relation of the grinding machine.And the gear twist error is decomposed to the machine motion axis,and the optimization model is established.Thirdly,modelling on form grinding interference.This paper presents a method of interference reduction based on error reverse compensation.This paper gets the forming tool to reduce the interference error.By reverse compensation interference error in the theoretical profile of the workpiece,a new virtual computing profile of spiral surface is formed,and then the shape of the cutting tool is calculated by inverse calculation.The process of interference reduction of spiral curved surface is given,and the efficiency and application scope of the proposed method are discussed.Finally,the error compensation method is tested on a grinding machine.And the effectiveness of the proposed method Is verified.
