Studies On Chemical Constituents Of Ipomoea Hungaiensis And Polyalthia Verrucipes

The thesis mainly reported chemical constituents of two medicinal plants Ipomoea hungaiensis Lingelsh.et Borza and Polyalthia verrucipes.Totally 25 compounds were isolated from the two plants and their structure were elucidated by various spectral data.By means of various chromatography methods and spectroscopic evidences,eight compounds were established from the root of I.hungaiensis Lingelsh.et Borza.Their structures were determined triumfettoside Ic(1),3?-friedlinol(2),lupeol3-(3'R-hydroxy)-octadecanoate(3),6,7-dihydroxycoumarin(4),octadecyl caffeate(5),syringic acid(6),?-sitosterol-?-D-glucopyranoside(7),?-sitosterol(8).Among them,compounds 1,3 and 6 were isolated from I.hungaiensis Lingelsh.et Borza for the first time.Seventeen compounds were isolated from the stem bark and leaves of Polyalthia verrucipes by the same way.The type of structure are including diterpenoid,triterpenoid,lignins,steroids,flavones and simple aromatic compounds.They are7,3',4'-trimethylquercetin(9),5,4?-dihydroxy-3,7,3?-trimethoxyflavone(10),3,5-dinydroxy-6,7,3',4'-tetramethoxyflavone(11),4'-hydroxy-3,5,7,3'-tetramethoxyflavone(12),3,7-O-dimethylquercetin(13),quercetin(14),butin(15),miliusol(16),4-hydroxy-9-methoxy-dihydromiliusol(17),ursolic acid(18),stigmasterol(19),(+)-syringaresinol(20),(6R,10R)-6,10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone(21),ethyl gallate(22),protocatechuic acid methyl ester(23),methyl gallate(24),4-methoxybenzene-1,3-diol(25).Among them,compounds 16-17,21 and 25 were isolated from the genus for the first time.At last,chemical constituents of Ipomoea were reviewed,including chemical constituents and biological activities.
