Traditional development mode of construction has been difficult to adapt to the“new normal” environmental development strategic objective of our country.Regional construction and its carbon emissions are not completely independent, but show spatial agglomeration and spatial correlation. At present, spatial association of construction carbon emission is increasingly complex, even beyond the traditional geographic distance.Due to the special characteristic of construction, few scholars explore construction and its carbon emission in spatial perspective. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to explore following questions:(1)the existence of spatial agglomeration and dependency of construction;(2)the effect on carbon emission due to spatial agglomeration;(3)the function of different regions in spatial network.Spatial measurement and social network analysis have been used in this paper to make a comprehensive analysis of construction and its carbon dioxide emission from the perspective of space and the network connection construction, mainly including:spatial dependency correlation of construction and its carbon emissions;spatial spillover effect correlation of construction and its carbon emission;structure characteristic and evolution process of spatial network of architectural carbon emission. Results show that:(1)construction and its carbon emissions show significant spatial correlation in the provincial level(2)the industry agglomeration has positive direct effect and indirect negative effect on construction carbon emissions.Construction agglomeration of a certain province promotes the growth of local construction carbon emissions, showing negative space effect;(3)Social network analysis shows that construction carbon emissions shows complex network.Shanghai,Beijing,Tianjin,Jiangsu and Zhejiang and other developed provinces exist in the center of the network, having more power and control ability. In view of this point, following suggestions are presented: In order to promoting environmental development, construction upgrade and transition, reducing construction carbon emission should start in key province in network.
