As one of the important pillar industries in China's economic system,construction industry has a high degree of industrial correlation.The development model characterized by high carbon emissions has been difficult to adapt to the strategic objectives of green and low-carbon development.At present,the development status of China's construction industry is relatively uneven,and its carbon emission intensity characteristics show a large difference in space.Therefore,clarifying the spatial distribution differences and dynamic development rules of carbon emission intensity of construction industry provides regionalization and differentiation reduction strategies with important theoretical and practical significance.Based on above,this article is oriented towards the construction industry,and defines the concepts of construction industry,construction carbon emissions and carbon emissions accounting in construction industry.Based on spatial econometric theory and convergence hypothesis theory,this paper analyzes the evolution of spatial pattern of carbon emissions and the spatial effect of convergence in construction industry.First,according to the characteristics of construction industry,the direct,indirect carbon emission and carbon emission intensity of the construction industry are calculated based on the carbon emission coefficient method and input-output method,At the “national”,“regional” and “provincial” level,evolving characteristics of carbon emissions and carbon emission intensity in time are discussed;Secondly,two spatial econometric analysis methods of spatial center of gravity and standard deviation ellipse are introduced in the analysis,and the spatial agglomeration and spatial heterogeneity of carbon emission intensity in the construction industry are described and analyzed;Finally,by using the traditional Markov chain and space Markov chain method to analyze the spatial convergence effect of construction carbon emission intensity from the provincial level,it can effectively analyze convergence path transitions of construction carbon emission intensity with different adjacent areas in the space-time process.This article comprehensively considers the relationship between construction activities and innovatively introduces methods such as the standard deviation ellipse and Markov chain into study on the spatial effects of construction carbon emissions,which not only enriches the research methods for the spatial characteristics of construction carbon emissions and provides a reference for similar research.It also provides the basis for grasping the rules of regional construction carbon emissions and formulating strategies for the coordinated development of low carbon in the regional construction industry.
