The content and component content of four kinds of Shengli petroleum sulfonate were measured respectively with the capacity analysis method and the column method in this paper. The average equivalent was measured by the potentiometric titration method and the active components of petroleum sulfonate were characterized by 1HNMR.The interfacial activity of four petroleum sulfonates was evaluated by measuring oil-water interfacial tension. The result shows that the active ingredient content of petroleum sulfonate SAS-4 is higher than the other three petroleum sulfonates and it is composed of more short alkyl chains. The properties of reducing interfacial tension and emulsification of petroleum sulfonate SAS-4 is better than the other three petroleum sulfonates, but it still couldn't meet the field application requirements.Petroleum sulfonates were used with alkalis in this paper. It was determined that the proportion of petroleum sulfonate SAS-4 and NaBO2 was 1:5.The interfacial tension of the complex system is lower than 10-2 mPa.s and the emulsification ability is obviously improved. The system of 0.1% petroleum sulfonate SAS-4 and 0.5% Na BO2 was chosen as oil displacement agent system.Physical simulation experiments show that the higher temperature is,the higher recovery of the system is.To large slug of petroleum sulfonate flooding system, the ultimate recoveries at different injection time were basically same, but the flooding speeds were different. However, when petroleum sulfonate slug was small, oil recovery was higher when petroleum sulfonate system was injected before injecting steam.
