Design Of Torsional Impact Fast Drilling Tool

Improving the ROP is restricted by high risk,difficulty and poor drillability of harden rock in the deep well.In the background that the current international oil price is low,in order to improving the drilling efficiency,reducing the drilling cost,need to improve the ROP in deep harden layer.There are many ways to improve the drilling speed in deep hard formation,rotary impact drilling technology is often used abroad.Although this technology began to research in our country,due to research started late,they have not reached the site application conditions.Therefore,developed a new type of torsion impact fast drilling tool is very necessary.This paper combines torsion impact apparatus abroad,puts forward a new type of Torsion Impactor Fast Drilling Tool,which converts part of drilling fluid energy to impact energy.The device produces high frequency and low amplitude torsion impact force through the drilling fluid produces differential pressure in the device.Throw the transmission system which is the lower part of the device,impact force is transferred to the drill bit which is connected with the device,then the stick-slip is solved,when drill bit drilling in hard formation and improving the energy transfer efficiency between the drill bit and the rotating disk or top drive.At the same time,increasing the way and energy of torsion impact to break rock,so as to improve the ROP.According to the working principle of the device,the device is divided into four system.Each system of the device is designed respectively,determine the scheme of the device and finished 3D modeling of apparatus,determining assembly prototype scheme throw 3D simulation;Secondly finished the structure design and strength check on high frequency impact system and the torque converter system,finished the finite element analysis of the hammer seat with complex cross section;Thirdly completed the drawing of each components and the whole assembly drawing,and manufactures a prototype;finally,assembled and tested the prototype.Designed horizontal tester which tests torque and flow of screw drill tool.Through the test results of prototype,analyzes the prototype performance.The Torsional Impactor design can help to improve the ROP in deep well drilling.
