With the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing in China,laser processing technology is more and more applied in industrial manufacturing.The laser sintering fast forming equipment also develops rapidly and proposes new solution for processing parts.It especially has more advantages of processing complex curved surfaces.The topic of this paper is aimed at the questions of high cost of the existing laser sintering rapid prototyping equipment control,low compatibility with traditional nc machining equipments to design low-cost laser sintering control system.It serves the Arduino as the core control system,describes the detail structures hardware of control system,conducts optimization design to spreading powder module,studies the algorithm of control system and designs the software.The main research contents of this article are as follows:Overall designs of hardware and software for the control system of laser sintering fast forming equipment.This paper puts forward the construction method of equipment hardware and the planning of the task and program structure of the software implementation.Completes the design and construction of the hardware circuit of laser sintering fast forming equipment and propose a low cost control system solution.Its mainly includes the simplify design of USB communication module,selection of control chip,low cost and its minimum system design,low cost optimization design of module structure and the control mode to spread powder,design of control system for power supply.And to design and research the laser sintering rapid prototyping system software and the next bit machine software tasks,which include communication task,G code compiling,laser control task and other tasks.The interpretation of the G code compiler work is handed over to the machine.It designs of the corresponding equipment G code compiler algorithm according to the especially structure of the equipment,which reduces the cost of hardware through the design of the software.Verifies the stability of control system and some important parameters in processing.This article compares measure data and processing samples through the tests on the stability of laser power,laser speckle movement speed,control system accuracy.It verifies the feasibility of the synchronization control for its power and speed and spreading powder coordinated control scheme.Through the study of this subject,the hardware cost of laser sintering fast forming equipment is reduced effectively and meets the processing requirement.
