Mine waste dump area is the place where waste material stacks during the mining process.Recent years,with the development of dumping technology and the emerging problems of expropriation terra,the technology of mixing dump and expropriation terra has come into being.This new technology has such features as saving the land and reducing the pollution,but it has greater demands for the planning process and stability.At present,little domestic research has been conducted about this new technology;therefore,there is a great need to do a comprehensive study about this new technology.In this paper,the author first designed the dump elements,dump technology and flood infrastructure;then the author conducted physical experiment on the compound dump material and got sheer stones,gravel soil in different proportions and the tailings' index;at last,the author made use of Midas/GTS based on analysis slope to analyze different proportions' compound dump's stability under normal working condition.Next,the author analyzes the dry waste stone and dry waste sand's optimum mixture ratio's compound dump square's seepage and seepage stability under flood.This thesis' s main tasks are just as follows:(1)Compound dump's slope design: this design makes the dump have platforms from down to up,the lowest cushion 10 m,the rest each stage 20 m high,the maximum pile total height 120 m.Hard and half-hard rocks which are segregated by the mining dump at the gravity anti-slipping dam.Dry waste rock and dry waste sand mix and pile up in the middle part of the dump.Bench slope angle is about 34° and the final slope angle is about 28°.At last,the author calculates the size and the length of the flood infrastructure according to the flood.(2)Physical mechanics experiment: the author conducted gradation test to the material and found that the piled material was gravel and fine mine tailings.Then the author adopted the conventional DSA to test the fine mine tailings' strength index and adopted the large DSA to test the gravel and different ratios' gravel's strength index,which was used to provide parameter reference for numerical simulation.(3)Stability study and analysis: first,the author built a compound dump three-dimension model which matched the real condition;then,the author divided the bulk waste area,waste stone area,dry tailing rock and dry waste stone;meanwhile,the author set calculation parameters,boundaries,displacement and load condition.Finally,the author used the large limited meta-ware Midas/GTS based on FEM reduction method to analyze different ratios' compound dump's reflection condition,features and rules,which could help compound dump dam's inner mixtures' optimum compound ratio.As for the compound dump dam which was made up of dry waste rock and dry tailings,the author analyzed its seepage and seepage stability under flood condition.At last,the author comprehensively analyzed this compound dump's stability,which can lay a theoretical foundation for the compound dump's wide application.
