Coal,as one of the important resource in our country,plays an irreplaceable role.In the process of mining,if the mine ventilation is not effectively guaranteed which will not only affects the air quality of underground but also leads to gas explosion and other major accident.Mine ventilator is designed to ensure good ventilation and safety of mine which can be called coal mine lung.There are some problems in traditional main ventilator monitoring system in our country,such as simple control structure,complex operation and starting shock current of motor.Consequently,the main ventilator can't meet the demand of air circulation and automatic supervisory control can't be realized.The waste of energy is serious.In order to realize the modernization of the mine,solving existing problems of traditional main fan system.In this paper,the design is conducted from the following several aspects.Firstly,in order to solve the problems of the traditional fan high failure rate,poor stability,the impact of large motor starting current,monitoring of main fan operation parameters of the system accuracy.the selection,principle and communication of main fan,power transmission and transformation equipment,frequency converter,PLC,sensor and other hardware equipment are simply analyzed.Secondly,the flow chart of PLC control system of main fan system is designed according to the requirement of butterfly valve switching,inverter control,adaptive control of main fan air volume.The program is coded in Siemens STEP7 software programming in the form of ladder diagram.Finally,in order to integrate the function of monitoring and control of slave PLC in which the operator can not only know all about the state of the whole system but switch the system.The HMI interface of monitoring and control system structure is designed first.And WinCC configuration interface and internal variables are designed.
