By the mechanism of volatile corrosion inhibitor(VCI),corrosion inhibitor formulation is applied to study the eco-friendly VCI packaging materials,For the purpose of green,efficient and inexpensive,convenient,study two green and efficient VCI formulations.According to non-toxic or low toxicity,high efficiency,low economic cost principle,the sodium,alanine,sodium benzoate,ammonium benzoate,urea as the main bodies inhibitors.Firstly,five kinds of VCIs are used electrochemical and damp heat test to determine the optimal inhibitor sodium and the concentration has the best corrosion inhibition efficiency,respectively calculated corrosion rate of five kinds of VCIs according to two test methods.Analyze the relationship between corrosion inhibitor concentration and corrosion rate in the Origin Pro8.0;maintain its optimal inhibition concentration constant,then combine with others respectively,and evaluation of test results with electrochemical test.Similarly,ternary compound and quaternary compound,eventually,evaluated the two kinds of four compound formulations with electrochemical test and damp heat test simultaneously.The experiments show,When the concentration ratio of sodium silicate,alanine,sodium benzoate and ammonium benzoate is 1g/L:2g/L:8g/L:4g/L,the effect of corrosion inhibition is best to 45#steel and Q235 steel,the corrosion rate of 45#steel is 93.75%and the corrosion rate of Q235 steell is 98.33%.When the concentration ratio of sodium silicate,alanine,sodium benzoate and urea is 1g/L:2g/L:8g/L:7g/L,the effect of corrosion inhibition is best to 45#steel and Q235 steel,the corrosion rate of 45#steel is 92.14%and the corrosion rate of Q235 steell is 95.00%.The confined space volatile reduction test of two kinds of best efficient formulation show that they have good short-term and a long-term volatile capability and can be able to protect the carbon steel in a long time,the camparing test between they and commercially VCI-146 paper show that the inhibition effect of the formulation is close to the VCI-146 paper,and which has a lower economic cost.
