Rice is one of the three major grain crops in China, and the quantity of production and consumption is the first over the world. The survey found that the rice over-processing and low utilization of by-products is widespread. Not only cause waste of resources, but also to the environment a great burden. It is important to study the environment impact of rice full life cycle. This study attempts to evaluate the environmental impact of rice processing system(raw materials acquisition, paddy processing, packaging, transportation and by-product recycle)with GaBi6.0 software, primary data were collected from an agricultural group in the northeast China. To evaluate environmental effects generated by CML2001-Jan.2016 model, which includes global warming potential, acidification potential, eutrophication potential, abiotic depletion potential fossil, freshwater aquatic ecotoxicity potential, human toxicity potential, and photochemical ozone creation potential.Founding the high consumption and high pollution link of the system by identify hot issues, the results can be looked upon as main foundation of cleaner production audit and energy conservation for the enterprise and the same industry. The results showed that water is the material with the largest consumption in the whole life cycle,7.69?108kg;and CO2 is the largest pollutant emissions in all emissions,8.66?107kg.Power generation from rice husk are the main steps of water consumption and exhausting CO2.The life cycle total environmental impact is 1.8×10-6,and the biggest contribution comes from transportation system, accounting for 41.86% of the total environmental impact, which mostly comes from biodiesel production.Followed by power generation from rice husk, with the contribution proportion of 35.61%.EP causes the largest damage on environment with the contribution of 8.77?10-6,and mostly damage comes from transportation.Followed by FAETP and GWP,its damage,respectively,2.9?10-6 and 2.31?10-6,Biodiesel production is the main link of FAETP,power generation from rice husk is the main part of the GWP,HTP causes the smallest damage on environment,6.69?10-8.The environmental impact of rice bran sales is 1.09 times that of rice bran plant recycling.the proposed recommendations reasonable.Compared with the results of life cycle analysis of other rice processing processes at home and abroad,it is found that this research system has a great influence on global warming and acidification. The rice husk combustion power generation and transportation is the hot issue in the whole life cycle. The measures which can mitigate the environmental impact involved that: Improving the combustion efficiency of rice husk, and improving flue gas desulfurization and denitrification efficiency;Considering use instead of road transportation of railway transportation,to reduce the diesel consumption, thereby reducing the environmental impact. In addition, excessive degree of processing rice more severe,it is suggested that reduce milling and polishing process.
