Oxygen and Ozone are commom gases in the atmosphere.Oxygen is a nonpolar molecule whose absorbency is very poor,it is difficult to measure the concentration of oxygen accurately,so developing a simple and accurate oxygen detection method is very necessary.Oxygen can convert into ozone under ultraviolet light,but people lack the quantitative understanding of process of ozone generation by oxygen photocatalytic conversion at present.Ultraviolet absorption spectrum has been widely used in the trace gas measurement because of its high resolution ? high sensitivity?non contact and online monitoring.This paper has mainly studied the measurement method of oxygen and ozone which are based on Beer-Lambert law.The measurement method of oxygen has been researched by using broadband absorption spectrum.The oxygen ultraviolet absorption band has been discovered within the range of 186~196 nm,the experimental system and the detection theory of oxygen ultraviolet absorption spectrum have been setted up,the optical parameter(OP)has been confirmed and calculated,the calibration curve of the optical parameter has been measured,the detection limit and the uncertainty are0.3% and ±0.2%.The measurement method of oxygen has been researched by using second order broadband absorption spectrum.The experimental system and the detection theory of oxygen ultraviolet second absorption spectrum have been setted up.The second order absorption spectrum has been extracted from the total transmission spectrum,the optical parameter has been comfirmed and calculated,the calibration curve of the optical parameter has been measured,the detection limit and the uncertainty are0.3% and ±0.3%.The oxygen photocatalytic conversion process and the measurement method of ozone have been researched by using broadband absorption spectrum.The optical parameter of ozone has been comfirmed and calculated,there comes to a conclusion that the production rate of ozone is directly propotional to the initial concentration of oxygen.Finily,it has been founded that the variation of oxygen's OP is linear with the variation of ozone's OP,according to the calibration curve of oxygen's optical parameter,the calibration curve of ozone's optical parameter has been measured.
