Trucks as the main tool of transportation play an important role in the open-pit mine,whose consumption accounts for very large proportion of open-pit mine costs during transportation.According to statistics,truck's energy consumption accounts for 40 to 72 percent of the total cost of open-pit mine.Manual scheduling could easily leads to truck's stagnation,queuing and other phenomenas,which in turn increases the energy consumption in production.Vehicle scheduling controlled by computer can be able to monitor the open-pit mine and reduce truck's idle time,then reduce truck's energy consumption and improve economic efficiency.So computer control method is used to study the truck dispatching of open-pit mine in this paper.The computer-controlled truck dispatching system is a complicate and systematic project,which includes control engineering,computer application,management science and engineering,transportation engineering,graph-theory and network-analysis,applied mathematics,operational research and other disciplines theory.In this paper,the truck dispatching is simulated by computer based on a open pit mine in Tibet.Firstly,summary of the truck scheduling problem is introduced,whih includes characteristics,principle,scheduling plan,theory and scheduling method.Secondly,the optimized Genetic-annealing Algorithm is used to optimize the shortest distance of trucks based on a road network model which is established according to the characteristics of the actual road conditions.A traffic flow planning model is built to simulate the truck dispatching according to the production target and equipment of open-pit mine.In the end,a heuristic algorithm is proposed to dispatch the truck,which combines the optimized Genetic-annealing Algorithm used to determine the shortest distance of trucks.The simulation result shows that heuristic algorithm is btter Compared with the traffic flow planning model.So the heuristic algorithm provides a scientific method for truck dispatching in open pit mine.
