High speed horizontal machining center is the core manufacturing equipment with high efficiency and precise machining in modern manufacturing system.As a support of the body structure,not only in the layout,quality and materials etc.affect the overall performance of the machine,its static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool and heating more accuracy and reliability has an important influence.The high-speed horizontal machining center in typical support column as the research object,analysis of domestic and foreign technology application status and research methods based on the basic research ideas and structure formation,analysis and related theories and methods,discuss the design,calculation and analysis of the ideas and methods of machine tool support to the column as the representative of the.In the course of the study,through the analysis of the high speed cutting theory,machine tool structure design theory,support design theory,combined with the method of structure optimization of machine tool,finite element analysis analysis and application of topological optimization method and structure,formed the main design with finite element method for the calculation of means of static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool support the calculation and analysis method.On the basis of the previous analysis and design,the static and dynamic characteristics of the column are analyzed.In the static analysis,through the analysis of the stress and strain of the spindle system under the specific working conditions,it is found that the static characteristics of the scheme are enough in strength,and the stiffness needs to be optimized.By analyzing the modes of each column,the natural frequencies and modes of vibration at different orders are obtained.It is found that the natural frequencies and shape variables of this scheme are ideal.The analysis conclusion of machining center column,based on static state characteristic,put forward the "joint rib" and "change ribs form" two structure optimization scheme in the column body.At the same time combined with the empirical analysis put forward the "removal of the upper part of rear column material" and "two lightweight design columns on both sides of the amount of reduction material".Through the comparison of the six order modal data of the above four schemes,the optimized comparison conclusion of the column design scheme is obtained.
